01 / SEMICONDUCTOR EQUIPMENT
99.5% Alumina Ceramic Positioning Platform
Manufacturing challenge
A multi-hole positioning structure and multiple mounting faces required high flatness, bore-position accuracy and electrical insulation. Post-sintered ceramic hardness made edge chipping, flatness deformation and bore deviation critical risks.
Solution
Blank preparation → rough machining → precision grinding → finish hole machining → lapping → cleaning → CMM inspection. Staged machining and inspection controlled critical mounting faces and bore relationships.
Project result
First articles passed equipment validation and the program moved into low-volume procurement.

02 / MEDICAL EQUIPMENT
Zirconia Precision Ceramic Plunger
Manufacturing challenge
The customer required zirconia to replace a metal plunger that wore over time. Stable fitted diameter, roundness, cylindricity and low surface roughness were essential.
Solution
Precision cylindrical grinding → size correction → surface polishing → roundness inspection → dimensional inspection, with a fixed inspection method for repeat orders.
Project result
Samples passed assembly and endurance testing and entered stable low-volume production.

03 / INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION
Silicon Carbide Wear-Resistant Ceramic Guide
Manufacturing challenge
A metal guide wore during high-speed operation and affected positioning accuracy. Silicon carbide is hard and brittle, so bores, edges and mating faces required close chip and size control.
Solution
Main machining → precision grinding → mating-face machining → edge treatment → dimensional inspection → batch sampling, with optimized parameters for chip-prone areas.
Project result
Samples passed equipment validation and entered batch procurement.

04 / ELECTRONICS & AUTOMATION
Aluminum Nitride Thermal Insulation Ceramic Plate
Manufacturing challenge
A high-power electronic test system needed thermal conductivity and electrical insulation, mounting bores and local grooves. The R&D quantity was small, drawings changed frequently and the material required careful yield control.
Solution
We completed a manufacturability review and proposed radius, bore-position and edge refinements. A revised drawing was supported through a second machining round.
Project result
After two design iterations, the product passed assembly validation and moved into stable low-volume production.

05 / RESEARCH INSTRUMENTS
Macor Machinable Ceramic Vacuum Structures
Manufacturing challenge
A vacuum-analysis system needed varied low-volume, complex ceramic parts with precision bores, threads, grooves, steps, multi-face and thin-wall locating features.
Solution
Macor machining enabled CNC completion of the main structures. General-purpose workholding reduced development cost while thin walls, threads, bores and edges received focused control.
Project result
After the first-generation assembly, the customer continued purchasing multiple revised parts.

06 / NEW ENERGY EQUIPMENT
Combined Metal and Ceramic Precision Components
Manufacturing challenge
Multiple drawing numbers, materials and processes had to be coordinated to one schedule with controlled batch quality and kit delivery.
Solution
Metal CNC machining → ceramic precision machining → grinding → surface treatment → dimensional inspection → BOM-based packing → kit delivery.
Project result
The customer reduced multi-supplier coordination and improved complete equipment-part delivery efficiency.
