This Aluminum Alloy Ceramic Rod is precision CNC machined to customer drawings for prototypes, low-volume and batch production. We plan the route around the geometry, critical fits, material condition and surface requirements, with a manufacturability review completed before quotation.
Product Overview
We manufacture after confirming the material, functional requirements and critical dimensions in your drawing. Process and performance information is always subject to drawing review and the confirmed material specification.

Key Manufacturing Parameters
| Material | Aluminum Alloy |
|---|---|
| Material grade | Confirmed to the customer drawing and material specification, such as 6061-T6, 7075, SUS304, SUS316 or Ti-6Al-4V where specified |
| Maximum machining envelope | Reviewed from the part envelope, workholding approach and geometry |
| General dimensional tolerance | ±0.01 mm |
| Higher-precision features | Down to ±0.005 mm after engineering review of critical dimensions |
| Surface and geometric requirements | Roughness, flatness, concentricity and mating faces are reviewed against the drawing and functional requirements |
| CNC process capability | 3-axis, 4-axis, 5-axis, turning or mill-turn routes are evaluated from the part geometry |
| Inspection | CMM, optical inspection, height gauges, surface roughness measurement and dedicated gauges as required |
| Drawing files | STEP / STP / IGES / DWG / DXF / PDF |
| Order quantity | One-piece prototypes through batch and repeat production |
Actual capability depends on the confirmed material, dimensions, wall thickness, geometry and feature size; final requirements are subject to drawing review.
Machining Processes
We combine processes for the component’s actual geometry, material and critical tolerances rather than substituting a fixed process for drawing review:
- CNC milling
- CNC turning
- Multi-axis machining
- Mill-turn machining
- Precision grinding
- Drilling, tapping and reaming
- Wire EDM or EDM where geometry warrants it
Precision Features We Review
For this product type, we focus on the following geometry and functional features:
- Precision bores
- Grooves and steps
- Thin-wall or local thin-wall features
- Chamfers and complex profiles
- Precision flat and mating faces
Surface Finishing
Anodizing, hard anodizing, electroless nickel, electroplating, passivation, black oxide, blasting, bead blasting, polishing and laser marking are selected only after the material, operating environment and drawing requirements are confirmed.
Typical Applications
This metal component type can be evaluated for automation equipment, semiconductor equipment, robotics, aerospace, medical equipment, optical equipment, industrial machinery, laboratory instruments, precision fixtures and test equipment. Final suitability is confirmed from the material, geometry and operating conditions.
Quality Control
We can arrange CMM inspection, optical dimensional inspection, surface roughness measurement, thread checks, plug / ring gauges, height measurement and first-article inspection as required. Inspection records or reports can be supplied when required for the project.
Prototypes and Production
We support one-piece samples, engineering validation parts, low-volume production, batch production, repeat orders and parts supplied ready for assembly.
Information for Quotation
Please provide a 3D CAD model, 2D dimensioned drawing, material grade, quantity, critical tolerances, finishing requirements and inspection requirements. Once drawings are received, we complete a machining-feasibility review and prepare a quotation.
FAQ
What precision can CNC machining achieve?
Precision depends on part size, material, geometry and machining location. General precision dimensions can be held to ±0.01 mm; selected critical features can be held to ±0.005 mm after engineering review.
Do you accept low-volume orders?
Yes. We support prototypes, low-volume and batch production.
Can you machine complex multi-axis parts?
We can evaluate them. Components with multiple angles, complex surfaces or multi-face machining requirements are planned from the drawing.
Can you provide surface finishing?
We can evaluate anodizing, plating, passivation, blasting and polishing according to the material and use requirements.
Which files should a customer provide?
We recommend a STEP or STP 3D model plus a PDF or DWG drawing that identifies dimensions, tolerances and inspection requirements.
